Hello, I’m Gabriel Safron, aged 39, born in Buenos Aires, and the creator of Maisters.co.
My journey into entrepreneurship began with a foundation built on a lifelong passion for music and a career that took me across continents. From studying orchestra conducting in Argentina and Israel to performing at prestigious venues such as the Berlin Philharmonic, Wien Musikverein, Tokyo Suntory Hall and Tokyo Opera House,music has been both my vocation and inspiration.
I started playing the electric bass at the age of 11. Years later, moved on to the double bass and finally got into orchestra conducting, but never stopped playing bass.
After concluding my studies in Argentina, I got a scollarship to continue my studies at the Jerusalem Academy of music and Dance in Israel under the guidance of Maestro Avner Biron, Chief conductor and founder of the Jerusalem Camerata. Under his mentorship, I had the honor of being invited to conduct his orchestra for several concerts on 2012 season.
In 2013, I moved to Berlin to continue with my professional career as a conductor. So it happened: I was Generalmusikdirektor of the Schmoeckwitzer Kammerochester and the Benjamin Francklin Orchestra. I have played with The berliner Camerata, Berliner Sinfonietta, Viktor Hohenfelds Symphony Orchetra, Erlanagen Camerata and the Berliner Symphoniker among others. With this last one, I have toured China, Japan, Taiwan and many European countries. I lived in Berlin then 7 awesome years, meeting amazing people, playing in memorable venues and also learnt to speak fluent German.
Returning to Israel just before the onset of the pandemic, I immersed myself in the administrative complexities of music education at the Ramat Gan Music Conservatory. It quickly became apparent that traditional administrative methods were falling short in meeting the dynamic needs of modern educational environments. This realization ignited a vision—to harness the power of technology to streamline operations and elevate educational experiences.
Taking on the role of director at the conservatory in Kadima Zoran provided a pivotal platform for innovation. The initial challenge was navigating technological barriers and ensuring that our solutions were not only advanced but also accessible and intuitive for educators and administrators of varying technological literacy.
The breakthrough moment came when feedback from teachers and parents echoed newfound satisfaction with our platforms. This validation reinforced our commitment to bridging the gap between technology and education seamlessly.
My experience at the Ramat Gan Music Conservatory marked a turning point that solidified my decision to embark on the entrepreneurial journey with Maisters.co. It was here that I recognized the universal applicability of our solutions beyond music education. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated our digital evolution, prompting us to refine our platforms to meet the urgent demands of remote learning and digital administration.
